Windows

Standard windows install, nothing special here.

Full slew of updates after first boot.

Added to c:\windows\system32\config.nt

 files=255
 buffers=255

Now start->run command in order to get a command prompt with the proper environment.

Packet Driver

There's a virtual packet driver available from these guys. I installed it.

First, you download their zip file, extract it. Install a new protocol in network connections, and point at the files you extracted from their zip. It will add a "Software Systems virtual packet driver" to your list of installed protocols on your NIC.

You interface with this later using the supplied TSR that comes with the package (swsvpkt.exe).

I placed the packet driver in c:\pkt\swsvpkt.exe, add the following to c:\windows\system32\autoexec.nt

 c:\pkt\swsvpkt.exe 0x60
